Jared Roman has lived his entire life feeling unworthy, unwanted and unloved. He’s lived a life of abuse, addiction and abandonment.

Zhoe Dawson comes from a different world than him. She comes from money and social status. But with that comes the dictatorship her father runs. All Zhoe’s ever wanted is to break free of his rules, and to feel loved.

When they learn Jared is the reason for Zhoe’s pain, her loss, and heartbreak he tries to walk away.

But, Zhoe offers him the one thing he’ll never be able to leave behind – her heart.

Can Zhoe’s love save him from his past?
Can she help him conquer his fears and doubts?

At least he can’t say I was giving mixed signals. I think it’s pretty obvious what I want at this point. I can’t wait one second longer. Done with his games, I decide to take things into my own hands.  Turning around I place my hands on his chest and shove. He only stumbles back a step or two before regaining his bearings.

With my wrists locked in his large palms, he yanks on me until I’m flush with his body. He reaches up with one hand and brushes away the tears I didn’t even know were falling. I don’t even know why the hell I’m crying.  Sexual frustration, maybe? Is that a reason to cry?

When Jared Roman has been haunting all of your sexual fantasies, giving you small glimpses of what he’s capable of but never giving you the real thing, I say yes. Sexual frustration is a damn good reason to cry.
